For some time we have heard rumors about the all-new 16 inch MacBook Pro. According to the latest reports, it will be presented in the fall, and more precisely in the third quarter - according to the TrendForce Taiwanese report.
The TrendForce report contains interesting information about the notebook market:
"According to the 3Q outlook for notebook shipments, demand for Chromebooks remains strong thanks to the back-to-school period; at the same time, we see new products hitting shelves, such as Apple's 16-inch MacBook, Dell's products with 16: 10 aspect ratio, Asus's dual-screen laptop, as well as various gaming laptops in increasingly hot demand. "
The information contained describes the new MacBook as an 16 inch laptop, without reference to the Pro version, but it is probably this branch of Apple products it is about. This is also referred to by other information and rumors circulating on the web for some time.
TrendForce is the fifth source talking about the upcoming 16 inch MacBook Pro, right next to TF International Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, IHS Markit analyst, Jeff Lin, DigiTimes, and Economic Daily News. All this information, however, does not coincide as to the date of presentation of the new model, which is to take place in September or October.
It is customary for Apple to present new Macs in October, often in tandem with new iPads. Events dedicated to them have taken place five times in the last seven years. In September, Apple focuses on the iPhone, Apple Watch and other products and services.
The new MacBook Pro will have a changed design, most likely the screen will be larger without having to enlarge the case - the dimensions are to be similar to the current MacBook Pro in the 15 inch version. The keyboard, or rather its mechanism, will change from butterfly to scissor.
Analyst Jeff Lin believes that the 16 inch MacBook Pro will have a screen resolution of 3,072 × 1,920 pixels and will be powered by 9 generation of Intel processors, Coffe Lake Refresh, which will allow for configuration of 8 Core i9 processor cores.
I am very interested in what the new Apple notebook will look like. Rather, it is unlikely that the price will remain at the current level - we will pay dearly for the new.
